| Reebok set Guinnes World with longest 3D street-art (by artists Joe Hill and Max Lowry ) |

| Well technically this is no street art as it is applied indoors but that's just a minor detail that we'll overlook :)(by artists Joe Hill and Max Lowry) |
So let me
describe what I like about these two pieces. What I like about
them is that their primary concern is not raising public awareness about
politics, but rather urban beautification. Of course I'm not trying to suggest
that art which carries a certain political message is less important or more
boring. It's just that I don't think didactic funktions have to be the sole
purpose of art, it can also be made for art's sake (l'art pour l'art). One
simply doesn't have to learn something from it, it's just there to be enjoyed,
touched and felt !
The idea of urban
beautification and therefore 3D street-art may sound
"childish"* for some i.e people who either lack imagination or
are too "realistic"*. However I believe that it makes people
more careful and willing to notice the tiniest of details that are more or less
overlooked and gone unnoticed (crap, double passive!) in our "busy"* daily
lives.
“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

quotation marks is to indicate or call attention to ironic or apologetic words.
Ironic quotes can also be called scare, sneer, shock, or distance quotes. For
